New Daily Driver

So I picked this up last night. Its a 1998 Grand Prix Gt with the 3.8 liter. It only has 78,000 miles on it and I got quite a deal. Leather seats, power everything, man I am happy. Here are some pics.

Damn, you get both garages, nice! Very clean car btw, you'll like it. It'll last a long time.

As of now, no. But who knows what will happen in a little time. Used superchargers are really cheap...that could be fun. Time will tell but for now its just my winter car/daily driver.

Thanks for the good wishes guys, I am very excited about this car.

McLaren Turbo GPs were pretty sweet. Not terribly fast from the factory, but they can be woken up pretty easily.

x2, i ran a 15 flat with intake/box tune/downpipe/catback

you can do a top swap for ~1500 or less depending on where you buy your parts

honestly the best cheap mod you can do right now is go on ebay and spend $40 on clear corners, it makes a world of difference in the appearance...alos if the handling of the car really bothers you, go buy the gmpp handling kit, its 1 stb, 2 sway bars, and trailing arms for $150...best overall mod i ever did for my car

then blow a couple grand on f1/sd hood, slp/sd spoiler, sd lip, rims, drop it, full blown intercooled s/c setup...then it will be perfect lol

Thats a lot of mods ^ Care to be my private backer? Anyways I picked this car up for $3100 all said and done lol. Thats with new tires, brakes, battery, and extra wipers. I feel like I robbed him.

haha ya i wish i could back myself for mine hahaha

its a gt, coupe adds value, 78k is a good amount of miles, thats a decent price but with all the new stuff id say you definately got the better end of the deal

if you ever need info or ask questions or looking for write ups for it use this site, imo its the best of the ones out there- gpona.com

FYI, a lot more is involved than just the S/C.

Do the GMPP suspension mods first. The stock stuff is ****. I snapped both ears off of the front sway bar and bent a rear trailing arm just by daily driving it like a grandma.

Great cars though. I've had mine since 2000.

2kblackgtp 09-24-2009 07:01 PM

MonmouthCtyAntz 09-24-2009 07:01 PM
