Fan switch

Where is the fan switch located on a 1994 Z??

There is no such thing...?

You need to wire one in, or turn on your AC.

Edit: You do mean engine fans correct?

njcamarokid 10-08-2009 08:18 PM

yeah isn't there a switch/temperature sensor on the motor that tells the fans to come on?

LTb1ow 10-08-2009 08:21 PM

Yes...?

There is one on the driver side head near the front, and the other is on the water pump. They are different sending units... I gotta look and see which one does PCM signal.

Waterpump sensor = ECM, Head sensor = dash gauge.
