Has anyone swapped a dash from a 1997 into a 93 - 96 camaro?????

i know it's easy....wanted to know if gauges would just swap over...

sweetbmxrider 10-13-2009 02:48 PM

yes and no. are they digital? early 97's used the same gauge panel as 93-96, analog. i read that the 97 digital gauge cluster plugs right into a 93-97 harness. i can not very this or if they will work properly. if it doesn't, just use your analog gauges.

they changed mid year in 97 from analog to digital... just FYI.... mine are analog

sweetbmxrider 10-13-2009 07:33 PM

yeah thats what i was saying, maybe i wrote it wrong. from what i understand though, they are the same plug and the gauges supposedly work fine. if you had digital we could have checked!! fail!

The gauge connector is different on the 93-96 camaros. I swapped a TA dash in my 93z. You will need the interior wiring harness from a firebird or 97+ camaro.
