This guy is one of the guys over on the Nova forum I frequent. Cool guy, shame they put his car in a bad light.

LTb1ow 10-13-2009 09:38 PM

LTb1ow 10-13-2009 09:39 PM

So they chopped a photo and did it without his permission?

Wow...

Yes, that's right.

baddest434 10-13-2009 09:48 PM

what a douche move!!

LTb1ow 10-13-2009 09:49 PM

I hope he pushes that... that is a dumb move on their part.

baddest434 10-13-2009 09:51 PM

a nice out of court settlement and a swift kick in their nuts will work.

FlyingDutchman 10-13-2009 09:51 PM

looks soo fake though

baddest434 10-13-2009 09:54 PM

thats not fake that bemmer is taking that nova's lunch money

they have some balls!!

Tru2Chevy 10-13-2009 09:55 PM

It would be funny if they actually staged a race between him and that bimmer, but knowing that he'd outclass it by 3 seconds, they surely won't. Hopefully he can at least get someone at C&D to respond to him, but I doubt it.

FlyingDutchman 10-13-2009 09:56 PM

maybe after the court case he can give the nova some reall balls!

If the car mag actually STOLE that dude's picture, then maybe. If they took the picture themselves, or bought it from the person who released his copyright to them, then they can do anything they please with the picture. There will be no court settlement.

There won't be a lawsuit anyway. Probably not worth his time or money. I think it's the principle of the thing.

That picture is stolen. If it wasn't then he wouldn't be as pissed I'm sure.

I think he is pissed because he was depicted in an unfavorable matter.

I love how hard the rags swing from BMW's nuts. This just confirms that feeling.

procamaroz28 10-13-2009 10:37 PM

hahhahaah thats funny as hell i doubt theres anything he can do about this

jts98z28 10-13-2009 11:07 PM

thats bs if you look at the pic thats 2 after that one they did the same thing with another car

thunder 10-13-2009 11:16 PM

i used to respect caranddriver

S.J.SLEEPER 10-13-2009 11:23 PM

its a sh***ty deal, but basically once a picture is introduced to the internet its everybodies to do with. totally wrong and i would be pissed off if it was my car, but thats the chance you take when you post pics of yourself or possesions on the internet.

sucks, but such as life

NastyEllEssWon 10-13-2009 11:23 PM

he can try to push that its slander/defamation of character in some sort of way

Mike 10-13-2009 11:34 PM

the picture is property of the photographer, just because its a picture OF his car, doesn't mean its his picture to cry about

Frosty 10-14-2009 12:38 AM

The thread is too long to read, what, if anything, happened between him and C&D?

sweetbmxrider 10-14-2009 07:26 AM

what is the caption/article that goes with the pic?

the bmw is fugly

firebirdcrazy 10-14-2009 07:32 AM

Yeah I saw this on cardomain a couple of weeks ago. There really is nothing he can do about it.
