Nitrous Push systems
Been thinking about the NANO system instead of a a bottle warmer, and it would be quite simple to re create it with your own parts I think...
I have a large HPA tank, a reg, and I can get braided lines from a paintball store... Any one have any details on this system? |
Whatcha wanna know?
A nano system is 117 ci tank... most if not all paintball tanks are not that big... |
I think at the moment I need to know what the reg needs to flow.

ahhh the interwebz.......they say you can go to fire stations to get your bottle filled too! i'm sure you thought of scuba stores as well.... |
PSI does not equate to flow rate without knowing pipe size etc.
Fail. |
oh right right, my bad. call em and ask?
|
Call them and ask how to replicate their product? LOL
I guess the worst that could happen with an undersized reg on the HPA tank would be the N20 losing pressure during the run. So you could just charge the bottle up to goo PSI and then have at it. Hmn |
i would think a p.r. off a oxy or acet. bottle would be efficent.
actually my neighbor runs the local scuba rescue squad and i know their tanks hold some insane pressures. i will ask him about the p.r. valve for scuba and i am sure he has one or 2 laying around. |
Yea, really I could get some gains from just charging the N20 bottle to an optimal PSI before each run and just do that each time.
|
You would get better consistency but not the down track power as you would get with a push system. Might as well save your money and just use a heater. May be a PITA carrying around a bottle full of high pressure HPA to do the same thing as a heater.
|
Right, just thinking out loud here.
Worst case if I did have reg that flowed to low would be just as you stated, towards the end of the run the N20 out would be greater than the HPA in. |
|
:-)
|
I gotta add in a way to isolate the HPA bottle from the N20 tank, and get a gauge for the HPA tank, and or tee in a gauge onto the N20 bottle.
|
yeah, i personally would wanna monitor the pressure coming out of the bottle
|
I have the nano set up and the system has a check valve between the bottles and I would not recommend having a hard line between the 2
|
that actually makes alot of sense, thanks for pointing that out. i kinda thought that it would just balance the pressure between the two bottles this way.
