Ya know...

After hearing about Josh's accident, seeing what happened to our GIs out in Texas due to that scumbag [can't call him what he really needs to be called here 'cause it ain't PC], seeing pictures of that poor woman who got her face ripped off by that crazy chimp a ways back, and going through another Vets day knowing the true meaning of it all, I realized today just how easy it is to lose sight of the "big picture" and realize just fragile and precious life really is. I have a good job, a cool car, and people who love and respect me. And I just wanted to say I am grateful for all that I have! 8-)

BigRocsFirebird 11-12-2009 07:04 PM

Amen! buttt my car isnt as cool. it's got a v6 but hey life is great besides that!!

transmaro93 11-12-2009 07:06 PM

i hear ya man... i thank my lucky stars everyday.... glad to see people like you still exist.... not many around these days... btw guy is fort hood is a terrorist.... is that what you couldnt say? its PC because its true

FlyingDutchman 11-12-2009 07:09 PM

amen. couldn't agree with ya more, it's too bad more people cant see the "big" picture because then stuff like this would be less likely to happen..

Don't be afraid to dream, broh! I have an engine project that has been in the works for almost 10 years now, and sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel. But then I listen to what Journey sang and I "don't stop believing!"

BonzoHansen 11-12-2009 10:35 PM

That's not a bad plan. The six shooter can stay a nice daily driver, and ya can build a monster on the side. I used have real road monsters as daily drivers, but gas prices, a b.s. commute, and just a gen'l loss of interest in racing every other hoss on the road put my azz in 4 cylinder putt putts during the week, and the AMX comes out to play on the weekends.

yeah this car is fine but that does get anoying. everytime i pull up to a light someone has to race. then again it's great when they take off peeling out and then the cops pull them over and you keep crusing right on by.
