Anybody catch the meteor shower?

I was up so I walked outside but there was too much cloud cover near me. And as I walked outside, I almost impaled myself on a 6 point buck's antlers

I talked to him at like 2:30 this morning and he said there was a lot of cloud cover and his battery died

I was disappoined to see solid clouds. Couldn't see a darn thing through them.

bad64chevelle 11-17-2009 06:36 PM

I actually just saw some tonight, dont know if it was still that or not, but I saw more tonight than I did last night.

I took a mile long hike up Tom Jones mountain in Harrington State Park in NYS at around 1am this morning. On the way up the sky was cloudless, but once my friends & I reached the summit it was completely cloud covered, and when I set up my camera both my battery grips were dead and I only got 3 pictures that blow. I ended up just laying on the rocks staring straight up and I caught a GINORMOUS one rocket by in a cloud opening with a tail lasting for several minutes over head.

Heres one my friend captured (obviously edited a little bit for clarity)
