this week in the nfl

 what a week end of football. crazy i tell you

bengals lose to the raiders 20-17
steelers lose to the chiefs 27-24
detroit wins after hail mary int call 38-37
jags score TD with 56 seconds left to beat the bills 18-15
dallas shut out until 2:41 left in the game and win 7-6
giants get lucky not to lose their 5th in a row 34-31
indy survives 17-15
chargers crush the broncos in a game for 1st place 32-3
and of course the saints and minny won BIG

but the best was the PATS shutting down the once "mighty" jets 31-14

Forgot to mention eagles won, and the colts and saints are still undefeated

JL8Jeff 11-23-2009 07:42 AM

Just goes to show how bad the NFC east really is. There isn't a team in that division that deserves to make the playoffs, but somebody will win the division. And most likely another team with be a wildcard. :|

Frosty 11-23-2009 09:42 AM

From an Eagles fan standpoint I just want to thank Cutler for being a horrible QB, he missed a lot of open receivers last night.

...and LOL@Dallas almost getting shutout by the 'skins. This is the team that's going to be "different" this year? Riiiiiiiight.

CHRIS67 11-23-2009 11:31 AM

..... and the Browns Lions game was the game of the week to watch. What the hell?!?!?

no its not, interceptchez has single handedly lost 3 of their 6 games this year, and heavily contributed in 2 others

in the 6 loses he has 14 turnovers, i think 19 on the season, and 6 not lost fumble

FASTEDDIE Z 11-23-2009 12:12 PM

The cowboys offense is just conserving energy . Thats why they didnt play until the last 3 minutes  Im glad the D came to play . This december is going to be rough .

NastyEllEssWon 11-23-2009 12:29 PM

looks like romo's calender is already set on ''december''

welcome to the world of a rookie Qb....a YOUNG rookie qb

NastyEllEssWon 11-23-2009 01:04 PM

lol these are the same jets fans that were riding his hump in the first few weeks.....he's still a good qb. he's a rookie. hes doing way better than Chad ''the shoulder'' pennington ever did for you guys.

how quickly they forget

BurninrubberGT 11-23-2009 01:49 PM

ha i wish we had a rookie qb, we have a freshman in high school...i never liked them drafting sanchez, kid has heart but lacks A LOT of skills, even pete carroll said he wasnt ready...the jets were a win now team that went and got a rookie...il never understand this organization...the jets have one of the best olines/rush attacks, decent wr's, a solid d, and horrible play calling and a qb that is gonna pass favres interception record in 3 years at this rate lol...what did i do to deserve being a jets fan?

 good one tony

last time i looked mr interceptchez does'nt play defense. so its not all his fault. i don't mind the jet team it's the head coach's they get that i don't like.
mangina was a tool and is getting what he deserves in cleveland!! and rex
ryan opened his big mouth about how the jets were better then the pats and were going to win make it to the SB this year. get him another tissue.

on 5 turnovers, they gave up 24 points to the patriots offense, thats pretty good considering ryan had a LB covering welker for some dumb reason half the game. the jets are the best team with the crappiest results and the loudest mouth coach lol

baddest434 11-23-2009 09:35 PM

that welker dude is just crazy good

and interceptchez was hilarious

NastyEllEssWon 11-24-2009 02:36 AM

so i guess you guys won the superbowl last year with one of the greatest qb's of all time??? or wait a minute...they didnt do nothing with brett farve either...boo hoo and look what he's doing this year on a real team.

sanchez is a lot better than 3 of the 4 last qbs you guys had. i mean....i guess.... really???? you could always go to the emergency backup plan....

Saitin 11-24-2009 10:09 AM

yeah farve is kicking azz and taking names now that he actually has a good team to back him up.

last 4 qbs were favre, clemens(only a few games), penny, vinny

theres no way you watch football to say that he is better than 3/4 above. id choose any of those 4 over sanchez, you obviously have not watched sanchez play...im almost tempted to say id rather have leaf

You just proved his point. You keep blaming Sanchez for the team being bad(when in reality the entire team is garbage and has been for years), yet when you guys DID have a good QB(Favre) you guys did nothing.

So instead of blaming Sanchez blame the rest of the horrible team. ;)

lets not just repeat what sportscenter says. pete carrol knew he would have 2 freshmen quarterbacks without sanchez and saw this down season coming for usc. thats why he wanted sanchez back, not for sanchez's good...
