1991 Camaro RS V8 5sp - SOLD

White 1991 Camaro RS with red leather interior. Car has the L03 TBI 5.0L engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Car currently does not run because there is no battery in it. Last time it ran was 6 months ago. Car was purchased in North Carolina and still has NC tags, but I have lost the title. Front driver seat is pretty shredded, passenger is slightly better, rear seats are in great condition. The transmission at least needs new synchros, the RPMs are off on the tach, and it needs a new power steering box (has a bad leak). Bought the car as a project to swap in an LS1 and 6 spd, but after 2 years of moving it around and then just watching it sit I'd rather get rid of it. Perfect for a parts car or race car.

Would like to see at least $500 for it but I really just want it gone.

Email me at robg_@hotmail.com for more information or to set up a meet.

What else is wrong with her?

jin1481 12-02-2009 10:34 AM

Back two tires are also flat, what i have listed above is pretty much all i know. She made the drive up from NC (Cherry Point) Jan 06 averaged about 65mph and 28mpg, had a pretty good vibration around 75mph and over.

And the front windshield is cracked.

No chance of securing a title? Did you ever title it?

jin1481 12-02-2009 01:34 PM

Yes the car was titled in NC, but i have lost the title between moving around a bit.

That's not likely to be rust of the GFX - they aren't made of metal :)

Anybody know how those "we buy junk car" places work? I want this car gone.

mc73nova 12-28-2009 07:54 PM

If you were the last registered owner you should be able to go to the DMV and get a duplicate title no problem.

jin1481 12-28-2009 08:54 PM

yes but i was the last register owner in NC and i no longer have my NC title.

Brendan713 12-28-2009 09:11 PM

go to NC then get it switched over to NJ or you could just go to the DMV with the person who purchases the car and says yes its my car and hes buying it clean and clear. my uncle bought a 71 camaro with the original owner writing a note to the DMV that my uncle provided to them

mc73nova 12-28-2009 09:31 PM

You dont have to go back to NC, just go to the DMV with your 6 points of ID, tell them you lost the title.

really simple...call a few places, see which one has the best offer, give them your location, set a time, and abracadabra, theyll haul your wheels away.

had 2 friends use a junk cars service..one got $100 the other got a $150.
