It was full of win until I saw the motor...all that safety BS for 350hp?

Cool idea, fail on the power.

GP99GT 12-08-2009 11:24 AM

yeah i was expecting the 03-04 cobra motor...still cool though

GrandmasterCow 12-08-2009 01:04 PM

hah yeah i was expecting the 03-04 motor also. still pretty damn neat

sweetbmxrider 12-08-2009 01:05 PM

what, was it in the new fast and furious movie?

pretty cool though

91chevywt 12-08-2009 01:21 PM

cool car, but seems like it would have been much easier to build up an LT1 caprice and be closer to 400 hp

Whiplash Performance 12-08-2009 01:43 PM

I wish the guy made the listing a little easier to follow instead of on huge paragraph.

BigRocsFirebird 12-08-2009 03:13 PM

yeah i wanted a s/c cobra motor but cool looking

NJ Torque 12-08-2009 05:26 PM

Frosty 12-08-2009 05:27 PM

LTb1ow 12-08-2009 06:19 PM

I suppose since it was built to teach people how to drive a road course and was a track only car they opted for the best safety equipment. I could imagine an inexperienced driver whipping one of those around a road course could be a bit unsafe. I don't think that car was designed with the quarter mile in mind at all

I'd bet that it's a car for Bondurant driving school based on the fact that they are based in AZ. Executive protection or whatever.

Edit: Last pic even says Bondurant on the side.

Fixed

Those Bondurant cars were built by Roush and only 18 were built. All that safety gear is a bit overkill, as I bet that car won't go any faster than 14.5 with all that added weight. That thing has to weigh close to 4300# if not more.

It's not a drag car!

Edit:

Note the "evading and ramming" course info.
