1999 Ram Air

I have a 1999 Trans am - was stock height with regular suspension - non ws6 - then I did an eibach pro kit on the vehicle and have 19's on it - specifically 19x9.5 in the back and now the wheels are rubbing on bumps or if you have 2 people in it - any advice?

What size tire are you running on those wheels, and what backspacing are they?

Running 305's in the back - not sure of the backspacing - will have to check the offset on the wheels

are the wheels rubbing? or the tires?

if just one side is rubbing your rear may be off-center from lowering the car, in which case an adjustable panhard bar would help. otherwise if the backspacing/offset is off you may have to do some careful "shaping" of the inner wheel wells to get em to clear. also known as the "BFH (big effing hammer)" mod. i had to do some hammering to get my y2k's to not rub.

doesnt a 305 need the bfh even on smaller wheels?

when you pull the wheels off you should see exactly where they were rubbing... that would let us know a lot better which of the issues it could be

i agree with the bfh....i had to beat the hell out of my wheel wells to get my welds to fit and theyre only a 275, but the also only have 6.5"bs
