Sticking Pedal T56

Does anyone know how to do a modification in the clutch line where you drill out an orifice in the clutch line fitting? I was told that was a modification to stop a sticking clutch pedal when the car is being revved hard..Anyone know of this and have instructions?

search google or ls1tech for How To Drill Mod. youll get all the info you need there. it works

ive had it done to my trans am a few yrs back, i beat the crap out of the car and had more track passes than i could think of, consisting of many 6k clutch dump launches and never had a problem after the drill mod

I think I need to do this mod...

i had it done and still had problems, changed to the tick master cylinder and haven't had an issue since

I did the drill mod and just as Mike said.. I'd just upgrade to the Tick master. I just wouldn't bleed it completely with a mityvac, it's not sealed and you're not going to get all the air out. I'd do the mityvac plus traditional bleed or use the remote bleed if you feel like dropping your trans :)

Have you tried bleeding your setup?

Hey- What did you decide to do?? If you want to drive up by me, I'll hook the mityvac up to your master and help you bleed it to see if that helps...

Havent done anything yet havent had time. I have a few mechanical issues going that I need done asap. I will get it all done in one shot. How much was that Tick Master Cylinder?

firebirdcrazy 03-05-2010 10:11 AM

I just read about it on TickShift.com. With this cylinder you dont even have to do the drill mod. So I am going to just go with that. Its a nobrainer!!
