Here's a chance to learn something for those of us who always wondered at the scale of things.
Click the link below to go to a webpage that has a sliding graphic, allowing you to see the scale of some things, from a coffee bean all the way down to a carbon atom. You'll see bacteria, red blood cells, RNA strands and a bunch of other things in between. Pretty cool way of getting an appreciation for just how small things can be in this Universe. Apparently someone put a site out there that scales upward, from an average size human up through the time-space of Galaxies so we get a sense of scale the other direction. I'll post it when I find it. |
