Been a little busy...my current project - Projector Headlights for 98-02 Birds
Well I have been busy developing a projector low and high beam setup for 98-02 Birds and I think I have a lot of my progress finalized. The goals were pretty clear and that was to not have any cutting or defacing of the stock vehicle components but blow away the stock lighting.
To say the least I'm extremely pleased with how everything is fitting. I've mocked up the one side to show a comparison and now that I know I have the one side perfect, I will fabricate the parts for the other side. My camera did a decent job of showing off the light output but it actually is more intense in person. You can see this in the latter pics. So far I have not cut any wires or done any drilling or cutting to ANY of the factory components. The output speaks for itself, now imagine it with the other side done as well. Stock Headlight - Left // 55W 5000K Projector - Right http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01643.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01647.jpg ****Comparison***** Just the stock left headlight http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01654.jpg Just the HID Projector on the right http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01655.jpg All Together Now....the stock lamp barely adds anything to the output http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01656.jpg Just some more shots with a closeup of the cutoff. Beautiful color http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01657.jpg http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01658.jpg Oh...and I also had the projector for the highbeams installed as well. Just the passenger side for now but wow. :) http://i176.photobucket.com/albums/w...t/DSC01653.jpg |

The thing is, our headlights suck. esp the LT1 ones. Like bad... I can get OEM stuff pretty cheap too, depending on what stuff you used. :)

Nice job brian!
And the LT1 Camaro lights are just a joke  |

i think it says a lot when you shield your eyes from just looking at the picture...
good work. How about making a set for my malibu!! DAMN GM!! |
As I am not a sponsor on NJFBOA, I was simply showing the pictures of the completed project. If there was enough interest, I would be happy to sell these kits here as well after I became a sponsor.
