Possibly going to be an owner again?
 

If everything goes well I should once again be an owner of an F-body, I found a pretty nice 84 Trans-am for sale for a decent price. It's an auto carbureted 305 :-/ and needs some interior work but body looks good and engine seems to run smooth, cant testdrive it untill monday though.

Sweet, congrats dude. I heart F-bodies though I've never actually owned one and everytime I buy something I never think about them until afterwards.

My first car was an 86 firebird and ive had like 5 cars since then just never could find a decent one in my price range, or afford insurance on one. im just excited really hopeing it drives as good as it looks aside from needing new seats and roofliner

I would check for rust among all the usual things. Dont let the excitement cloud your judgement. Good luck with the car.

from what i seen friday night it was clean but it was getting dark. i didnt get to check underneath or drive yet.I did notice the choke light was on and the lights were a little dim so it may need an altenator it seemed like they got brighter when i gave it throtle. the seats were in bad shape and the dome light was out. but i do plan on going over it thorughly on monday when lighting is better. and thanks.
