Powdercoat subframe connectors!

Just bought a set of ALSTON RACING subframe connectors for my 3rd Gen Formula. They were on a car for over 3 years and the original powdercoating looks a little beat (scratches and some minor rust). Putting them on my showcar I would like to redress them up and was wondering if anyone here can redo them in gloss black. I checked with Paul @ Hardcaore RPM but his oven is too small. Maybe a pizza shop would help me out?

They're in central, just the southern part of it. I see your point, driving from northern central or maybe southern north jersey is a bit of a haul.

At least get a quote from that place from something that size. You may actually be better off selling the used subframe connectors that you bought and the new bolts, and then just buy brand new subframe connectors which will be nice and pretty and already come with bolts. That way it will all cost less in the long run.

Hey Ed....I have a shop that does my chrome work for me in Newark. They do powdercoat as well...good work. Do you want me to get you a quote from them? I'm planning a run up there soon to drop off some bumpers so if you want to drop your SFC's at my place I can take them up for you.

I'm about 10 minutes from you so the shop I use isn't far at all. They're in Port Reading, maybe a 20 minute ride from you max. Acme Powdercoating. They do EVERYTHING, so no chance their oven is too small. They also do AMAZING work and damned reasonably too.

I had them powdercoat my valve covers, radiatir support, upper intake, throttle body, intake tubes, and a few other odds & ends. They charged me $120 for ALL and it only took a few days. Also did my buddy's wheels for $40 a wheel. They'd probably coat those for dirt frigging cheap, especially if you're using black. They can get any color, but it's just a little more if you use a color they don't stock. They always have black though.

I SWEAR by these guys!!

Thanks for the info, but not hearing from anybody on who might do these (without tooo much $$$) I bought some VHT Epoxy Black Gloss spray paint. I scuffed them with a 3M Scotch-Brite pad and shot them with 3 coats. Looks great and the fact that this puppy will never see rain, they should last a long time.
