Really late with that one...

edpontiac91 03-08-2010 04:01 PM

I could ALMOST live with the 1,029 HP, and have fun telling people (who might see it for the first time) that it's a 6 cylinder and then run heads up with ANYTHING they have.

And then you'll cry when it poops on your LS1.

Seen that before. Dispicable

redsoxsstink 03-08-2010 08:14 PM

sounds terrible, looks terrible, but goes pretty fast. even though i hate ricers, they can make prett good power from 4 bangers and I-6s

thunder 03-08-2010 09:05 PM

no my taste but to each his own

LTb1ow 03-08-2010 09:08 PM

At least its not some goddamn LS1.

JerzLT1 03-08-2010 09:19 PM

i would drive that any day of the week, there are much worse power plants that can be put into a car like that. and turbo cars ftw

S.J.SLEEPER 03-08-2010 09:23 PM

I'm down with the paddle shifting deal, but the rest can go to the junkyard...... just drop the body, frame & wheels off @ my house !!!

HeadlessNorseman 03-09-2010 08:04 AM

dam haterz. The 2jz is a beast of an engine, but nobody(not even toyota) ever puts it into a car that can get any traction.

WildBillyT 03-09-2010 08:23 AM

They did it for attention. DUH. A lot of the "cool stuff" has already been done in first gens. An LS1/T56 swap is so 2003.

Pft, a 4BT swap would have been way cooler.

Yes, I can drive and my 3 clones can ride in the passenger seats.

rotary camaro!!! But no the 2jz will make 1000hp with the stock internals. Rotaries are just novelties.

Might not be to people's liking on this forum but I think it's a pretty impressive swap.
