really, thats pretty strange, cause I personally know of a factory freak 94 Camaro that went high 12's with SLP intake and Pypes catback.

stated....... out of the box!!!

not out of the burnout box out of the box meaning off the showroom floor bone stock !!!

have seen bone stock ls1 go 12.9 in 1/4
& have seen bone stock lt1 go 14.7-15.3 in the 1/4

okay......maybe a 1.5-2.0 seconds slower.... you guys happy now?

Most stock Lt1s are quicker than that. I would've said 13.8-14.3.

i just meant you have all the parts you could need and practically give the **** away 8-)

emolineaux 03-24-2010 08:43 PM

my 93 ss clone that i had was bone stock with 170k on it when i first took it to the track and ran a 13.8

WayFast84 03-24-2010 10:44 PM

I would say on average stock lt1's and ls1's are pretty close. I noticed a lot of people running 13.5's with stock ls1's and people going 13.8's with stock lt1's when it comes down to it they both have their pro's and con's. So if you don't like lt1's don't buy one?

BigAls87Z28 03-24-2010 11:41 PM

Jerkoff knocked down a 12.7 in his 6spd TA Vert with very light on the mods, in full street trim.

Whoever is running those times in a stock LT1 should be shot or made to drive a Hon-duh, seriously.

1994lt1 03-25-2010 12:24 AM

I ran a 14.1-14.2, spinning all first with just a cat back.

maroman88 03-25-2010 10:20 AM

IIRC i ran 13.9 in my 95 LT1 A4 with 2:73's
