Hershey pics from today
http://s6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...hey%203-28-10/
A bunch of EPFBOA members showed up late that we never met. And a few of us went to Red Robin, then Hershey to take the tour, and there was autox in the parking lot. http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10056.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10071.jpg A third gen being pushed...seems to be a regular occurence  http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10084.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10099.jpg Goodbye ZL1! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10112.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10113.jpg Sweeeeet game! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10120.jpg Central people http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10124.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10145.jpg http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y21...3-28-10160.jpg |
Nice. We took a scenic ride and ended up at smoky bones in reading.
They way those guys pushed cars around made us queezy. The one numbnuts was pushing a 2nd gen bird by the rear spoiler. Another guy was wearing mechanix gloves. |
Thanks for posting the pics Nick.
Museum was OK but the autocross was by far the highlight. But sooooo cold standing out there watching. :cold: |
That blue ZL1 is pretty much the ultimate Camaro right there. It's really low miles, RS, all original with docs with dealer added stripes from late 69 or early 70. I've heard the owner has been offered over $1.25 million for it and has no intention of selling it. He bought it at one of the auctions pretty cheap when rumors went around in the auction that the son of Walmart was going to buy it no matter what so lots of bidders didn't even follow it to the stage. The guy never showed up to bid, so the current owner got it well under the going price.

so i was right, it was an autocross that we heard when we pulled in. pretty cool :)
sorry i disappeared. I was done walking through the museum and I saw there were still EPFBA/Street Lethal people coming in, so I figured going for food would be a long way off, and I had to be back in the lehigh valley pretty early. and besides, that was the first substantial trip I've taken with my vette since fall sometime, and I was enjoying driving it. despite the fact that i drove well over two hours to hang out in hershey about an hour and a half, I enjoyed the drive just as much as the museum. it's not often I can crank harder music and drive 80+, since the wife is usually in the car with me. apologies to those who followed me out :D i tried to keep it reasonable, but i know i crept up to the mid 80's a few times. |

Melissa drove faster than either of you though. She was going at warp speed, you heard the motor when she drove!
|
Like Sarah said, she hit Vtec.

I was so Disgusted with the condition of the paint on most of the cars... some big money cars and they had more swirls then some daily drivers
