+1 on the internship... it will may not bring you cash right away but in the long run you will be better off... otherwise u maay not do much better than ur already doing

njryan 04-01-2010 04:35 PM

go down to the beach and get a job as a lifeguard. from wat i hear the pay is good and it a relaxed job.. with that in mind there also is alot of risk and you hold alot of responcibility

Its too late for interships this summer, most places have already hired etc.

Try auto parts stores or any other chains like that, just gotta do some footwork.

why do you say never think about joining the military? im full time national guard, make $27 an hour, work tuesday-thursday 7-5:30, and work on Jet engines. now if you mean dont think about joining the army.... thats a different story ;)

miketa95 04-01-2010 06:11 PM

Dont do pizza delivery, been there, done that and its the worst. Try landscaping, 10-12 bucks and hour usually. Long hours means lots of money and you get to be outdoors. Oh, and you get rain days, which are always nice.

JerzLT1 04-01-2010 06:23 PM

Landscaping isnt for everyone, it is long hours but its also very hard work. some people cant take it (my dad owns a business)

V 04-01-2010 07:35 PM

ok well army at least, lol. im like an anti-recruiter. theres so much stupidity here its unbelievable.

oh i agree, if you join the military you will deal with some stuff that is so stupid that it will blow your mind. but at least its job security

GMkidd91 04-01-2010 09:21 PM

hahaha thanks for the idea guys!!! my neighbor owns a land sapping and i might work with him this summer

madness410 04-02-2010 02:36 AM

internships could be paid and could not be paid, but as said earlier it may be too late to get one.

landscaping is rough..i used to do it with my buddies and hated it, its not for everyone.

you cant go wrong with a serving job..its easy and really hard to screw up.

pizza delivering is awesome if you have a practical car. u make minimum wage and still get tips

thunder 04-02-2010 02:58 AM

i worked masonry one summer. laying brick drives ways, some days i would come home with bloody hands and everyday i came back exhausted but you cant argue with 15 an hour... cash...and i got fed

spina74 04-02-2010 05:08 AM

trash man like me, its fun speeding through bellmawr holding on to a small metal bar.
