Need temporary spark plug wire fix

I've finally diagnosed the problem with my car as a cracked spark plug boot, causing it to arc. Is there anyway I can temporarily fix this until I have the time to replace the wires? The crack starts as soon as the boot turns goes all the way through until the end of the boot. Is there anyway I can just disable the cylinder altogether until I replace everything. Unplug it from the opti and somehow cut the fuel to it?

dont drive it. not worth a half-ass fix. and pulling the fuel injector plug would cause more ecm confusion. if the cylinder isnt firing, the fuel is still going in and washing down the walls and will eventually cause scoring and damage to the cylinder walls. park the car till you fix it right.

Go buy a set of cheap ass wires and use one as a temporary? Hell, somebody on here might have one they can mail you.

Yup, want one? Are you running stock routing?

I got about 30 wires of random lengths and brands...

replaced the cracked plug wire and while I was at it replaced the coil wire to opti. Problem still persists. I'm guessing it's definitely the opti now.

I sorta have a dilemma here. I replaced the distributor part of the opti a year and a half ago. Should I just replace the cap and rotor or do you think the distributor can go again that fast?

What did you replace the optical part or the cap/rotor?
