Got some new shoes. 215/50/17 front and 245/45/17 rear. Just have to get it aligned and get it back out on the road. What do you guys think?

always been a fan of the stock hubcaps but on your car the color of the car/rims go so well, i love them

Foose Legends - 8" on all corners. I was conservative on the width because I didn't want any rubbing. I can go a little wider next time with the rear, but the fronts are close to rubbing the inner fender.

They look great:nod:! Mini tubs or no?? If not how is the rear clearance with 245's? I wnat to do 245s out back as well. My car looks like it should clear them fine though with no tubs

You can fit 245s out back all day long. 67-68 can go 275 out back with the right wheel, I think they have more room up front too, I forget. 69s I'm not so sure about but I think there is less space.

Yea, just by eyeing it up it looks like 245s will fit fine maybe 255 max. Any larger than that requires a mini tub which i dont want to bother with anyway. Right now at least...

Very nice! Those Foose rims look good :D They're my favorite of all the TT inspired designs.

You can fit 275's in the rear with no problem. I have 17"x9.5" wheels with 275's on the rear of my 68 and have no rubbing issues at all. The fronts will take up to a 235 on a 8" wheel with no rubbing issues. It's when you move up to the 18" wheeels that you need to look into the sizes a little more closely. I tried 18" wheels and had rubbing issues so I went back to the 17" just for piece of mind. Remember that the back spacing is the key to making these wheels and tires work on the 1st gen camaros. Get it right and they fit like a glove, get it wrong and you'll be buying new wheels!

Looks good! I ran some 16x8 Vintage Wheelworks rims with 245/50/16 up front and 255/50/16 in the rear on my old 68 and I don't remember any rubbing issues. The car handled really well and with the 4 WDB conversion it stopped better than my 2000 SS!

Different cars, I had a 68 Camaro with a 94 LT1 and aftermarket 4 WDB conversion about 5-6 years ago. My 69 Z28 is making some progress once again so maybe it will be painted this year!
