Wow. NEVER would have expected my GTP to be lumped in there. But then again, I am a douche.

And not a single BMW? For shame! Or are those in a class all of their own?

deadtrend1 04-14-2010 09:20 PM

"you can use the long pedal on the right"

"treating traffic lights like nhra christmas trees"

"using blinkers as a light show for rave fans"

BigAls87Z28 04-14-2010 11:45 PM

Not a BMW or Audi in sight? Shame...

FlyingDutchman 04-15-2010 07:48 AM

Good stuff, the top ten reasons real men drive stick was pretty funny too

BurninrubberGT 04-15-2010 08:17 AM

the list sucks
they combined a grand prix and a grand am, that is the ultimate lo blow to a gp owner
theres no 3series owners or evo owners

Blacdout96 04-15-2010 08:34 AM

Theres no BMW's or Audi's on there, because all the editors drive one, and list is of the cars they cut off and tailgated today when they tried to get to work.

As the lackluster successor to the equally dull Dodge Daytona, bland had a brand as the Dodge Avenger Coupe and then Stratus Coupe.
Lol, that's some great copywriting.

prick list should be made for those ;)

Whiplash Performance 04-15-2010 11:25 AM

Looks like I'm a real douche. I've owned two cars on that list and I also have my NASCAR driver's number on all of them.

1988-'03 Pontiac Grand Prix/1992-'05 Grand Am

Let’s face it: there’s not much shame in these Pontiacs falling to douchemobile status. Between these later Grand Prix and Grand Am cars, there was little to love anyway. When the power wasn’t anemic, it was unwieldy, yanking the wheel in torque steer. All this and Batmobile bodywork channeling a typical sixth-grader’s notebook sketches make up the academic apex of the typical douche piloting these cars. If you encounter men who drive these models, speak slowly and limit your syllables.

Douche-tinguishing feature: “No Fear” and/or “Pontiac Excitement” stickers

1995-'07 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Douchemobile status is virtually assured when your car is not only pimped by cartoon characters (Tasmanian Devil), but comes in NASCAR editions too (Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Jr., Tony Stewart). It takes big, sleeveless shoulders to carry such a dubious honor, but the last-generation Monte Carlo manages that there real good. The slab-sided coupe was embarrassingly crude on its own, but when some fell into the hands of race-delusional douches, it became a joke that wrote its own punch line.

Douche-tinguishing feature: Stickers with NASCAR driver numbers -- or is it its owner’s IQ?

No M3 not valid

Agreed an evo is a complete douche car... The owners act like they are superior to everyone.

redsoxsstink 04-15-2010 08:31 PM

my mom drives a H2 and no she doesnt use a douche... lol. yes most hummers owners are douches, but you wont get it til you drive one. they really do make you feel invincible:nod:

Haha this is from Top10: Reasons Real Men Drive Stick....
"The automatic car is going to tell you what to do, and ultimately make you its bit#h."
"Cars that shift themselves will often hold the wrong gear, or shift up at the worst possible time, resulting in a car that treats the gas pedal as a suggestion box -- which it then promptly ignores"
