I'm up in the air about their host choices, we'll have to see if they can make it work

i like the brits, they have the funny.

Adam Farrera, sweet, the other two, no. Can we get some funny people on there, we don't want analyzers, we can get specs online, I want funny, and the other two will not deliver.

Jay Leno should be on there.

Why? Hes a comedian and a good one (arguably) and he has more car knowledge and enthusiasm in his little finger than most people have on their harddrives.

I'll never stop watching the original though its awesomely funny and informational. The Rain Forest episode last week was terrific as its a life goal of mine as an off-roader to actually do that... You have to remember that they dont ignore their offshoots / competitive clones of their show. The one where they did a challenge against Germanys version was hilarious.

Maybe we find the Black Stig, and make him our Stig, allowing the brit and US Top Gears go head to head from time to time.

as long as tanner doesnt bring his scion on the show it should be good. he is pretty funny ive met him a couple times.

We cant have the black stig. They killed him off because the driver revealed his identity.

That should be interesting, but I agree that there are much better choices for hosts

He never fully died, as they said several times, he was never found. I could see the first episode showing the beach, and the black stig come walking out of the water. He's not familiar with driving on the right side, and that gas is reasonabley cheap here. he has found a new home. He feels that the top gear trio in Brit abandoned him, signified by witnessing they now glorify the White stig, ang his feelings is to show he is infact the original and better stig! history Channel, you listening!?

Top Gear USA will fail.

The British version is great because the show is mostly funded by the government i.e. the tax payer. So they don't have to worry about manufactures and advertisers threatening to boycott the show if they're not happy with a review.....or Clarkson's political rants.

Not to mention these host will suck. I like Tanner but when it comes to reviewing cars, like on super cars exposed, he's got no real opinion. Every car I've ever seen him test gets a swimming review. FYI anyone associated with NASCAR should not be let within 200 yards of any Top Gear set.

Yeah I feel like that video isnt really from top gear or at the very least doesnt look like it with the sound muted at work.

either carrying a shark fin, or some sort of sea life clinging to him lol. Everytime he goes to sit in a car here, he gets in the passenger side thinking the steering wheels there.

LOL I would piss myself if they had him sitting in the passenger seat the first episode just making confused arm motions and looking around like wheres the steering wheel. Would be even better if they had to have one of the "lab" guys in the white coat come and help him out of the car and put him in the other side :rofl::rofl::rofl:
