NFL Draft 2010

Wooot the draft is finally here. Figured I'd start the thread discussing who you think goes where, how happy are you with your teams picks or maybe even a crazy draft day trade that turns things upside down! Oh the possibilities....

except one. Beings I'm a Philly fan this means i probably will have 3-6 Offensive lineman to be excited over???

had they ever spent 3-6 picks in one draft on linemen while donavan was there you would have a ring or 2

Go Giants!

I'm seeing mock drafts that are giving the G-men C.J. Spiller, the RB from Clemson. If that happens, I'll be pissed. The defense needs more help than the Offense.

i love how we had the #1 defense, and continue to add top players
their pick was stickly used to beat the colts

Someone explain this to me... McCoy to the Bucs but Tebow to Denver?
I really hope Elway is still close to the organization, he'd be a great mentor for Tebow--I hope that guy will really shut a lot of people up and squash all the doubts about him.

Other than that, I noticed two Rutgers guys went in the first round--which I don't think has ever happened before? I know Britt went 1st round last year, but he went late I think. Rice went 2nd round the year before that (and look were he's at now, wow). But both Anthony Davis & Devin McCourty went before the top 30, 11th (to 49ers) and 27th (to the Patriots) respectively.

the mccoy that the bucs took isnt the qb, its a defensive player mccoy. tebow is a great fit for denver i think. made tons of sense to me, plus they can probably get something decent for orton or quinn before the season or deadline.

lions and 9ers made some huge picks. dez bryant is a bust.

Jersey Mike 04-23-2010 08:36 PM

you're absolutely right. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gerald_McCoy
I just heard "McCoy" and "Tampa Bay" as I was walking in.

NastyEllEssWon 04-23-2010 08:48 PM

the browns stole mccoy in the third round. so they pick up two good defensive players, a rb and a future qb....theyre drafting well. so is carolina, 9ers, lions and seahawks got some massive pickups.

its gonna be an interesting year

BurninrubberGT 04-23-2010 09:16 PM

SF drafted Anthony Davis, I know him personally, same high school graduating class. He's gonna be a huge asset to SF I can't wait to see how much of an impact he becomes. Also from Piscataway was Kyle Wilson to the jets. Only the 2nd time 2 people from the same high school got drafted in the first round.
