Quick question about atco

Idk if this belongs here or in the racing section but would atco let you have a passenger? My friend wants to go down the track and dosent want to take her caro down, and she's not driving mine lol. Would atco permit her to ride with me during a couple passes?

NastyEllEssWon 04-23-2010 03:53 PM

ive seen it before at etown. dont remember seeing it at atco

SteveR 04-23-2010 03:55 PM

I've never seen it in NJ.

JerzLT1 04-23-2010 04:23 PM

you would have to pay for a rental in order to do it at atco

Squirrel 04-24-2010 06:46 AM

ive never seen it either

NJ State law is no passengers period. The Doug Foley Racing School had to jump through hoops to get his ride along dragster allowed in NJ. In PA a passenger is allowed below 13.99 sec iirc.

yea mike, i tried getting ash in the car with me but they wouldn't allow it.

i was at groove this weekend and saw two people go down the track in a pickup running in the 20's

T69SS 05-05-2010 10:41 PM

I dont think atco will let you. Last year my friend had someone in his car and he was waiting to burnout and one of the track employees got pretty heated about someone being in the car. Understandably so i guess. Im sure its a big liability

kazman 05-06-2010 09:52 AM

I think you can have a passanger at Maple on Friday nights as long as your 14.0 or slower.
