maroman88 05-04-2010 07:31 PM

FlyingDutchman 05-04-2010 07:56 PM

edpontiac91 05-04-2010 08:10 PM

Really SUUUUUUUUUUCKS big time:rofl:. After finding out that this "little ole lady " was OK, in my mind I would really want to do this to her.:twak: Did this brain dead person give ANY excuse as to why she could not stop in time?

T69SS 05-04-2010 08:16 PM

Accidents always suck, but at least it was minor and your alright

Jersey Mike 05-04-2010 08:18 PM

^^ accidents happen. Good thing is that it's minor and not much damage at all. How'd her car turnout?

maroman88 05-04-2010 09:07 PM

she sed she was watching a car coming out of a driveway into our lane to see if it stopped, then looked forward and saw i was stopped but it was to late.

her taurus had a cracked bumper and license plate holder and a parking light fell out, u can see where the license plate hit my car and im sure those 4 massive exhaust tips left their mark

wen i was younger i flipped out on some younger kid that hit my car and felt like a complete idiot later on. it happened in the town i work for so i just remained calm and asked the same questions i would have asked if i was working, if she was ok, explained the process (ive been thru this 1000000x now lol) and called work and had a car sent for the report.

itll get fixed and be better then new for free so i really cant complain. just sucks that it happened wen its actually nice out, perhaps an excuse to finally get the Camaro out

Frosty 05-04-2010 09:19 PM

Sucks dude :(

12secondv6 05-04-2010 09:28 PM

Very sorry - car's can be fixed......glad you are ok.

She should at least buy you a supercharger.

MyFirstZ 05-04-2010 09:40 PM

i would have a new exhaust new bumper, new lights lol.

WayFast84 05-04-2010 09:54 PM

Damn dude sucks about the accident. That color is hot though!

FoodStampsz 05-05-2010 10:25 AM

Worst part is when you go to sell it that stupid little fender bender pops up, rather have that though than any serious injuires any day. Had a friend with an evo who'se mom backed up into it in his own driveway and it popped up when he went to sell it because of the insurance!

thats why you take pics like these and keep them in your folders/filing cabinet/records/photo album. having pics showing the extent...or in this case LACK of damage will deffinately calm down someones apprehensions when and if he goes to sell it.

Frosty 05-05-2010 05:22 PM

I keeping looking at this thread title and think about how you could have worded it better, lol.

Jersey Mike 05-05-2010 08:47 PM

I'm fairly certain the wording was intentional.

"Took it from behind by an old lady"
"I got pounded from the rear"
etc

SteveR 05-05-2010 09:59 PM

maroman88 05-19-2010 03:40 PM

update!!

i got an estimate for $1470 to replace and paint a new bumper cover from my shop, the ladies insurance co came out and looked at it and decided that amount was fair and cut me a check :)

sooooo i took out my compound, polish, clay bar and buffer.

it came out pretty good, the main scratches are on the inset part of the bottom of the bumper, where lots of people perform i guess wat u would call the 'CETA' mod on a vette, so maybe ill give that a shot
