Drove a 5th gen SS

So I got behind the wheel and this car is great my head clears and it just feels nice all around. I think besides overall power this car has it all over my 4th gen. Anyone else have a test drive yet? Thoughts?

It will be my next car question is does it go with the 4th gen or replace it...

I drove the LT model and I was far from impressed, its also at least 10grand less.

I also drove the (LS? I think - bottom model), and my review thread is somewhere around here.

I liked it. I thought the seats were comfortable, the guages relatively easy to read (had to get used to guage pods), and the ride was comfortable enough (read: stiff, its a sports car).

The feeling of being slid into a rifle bunker wasn't lost on me though with the gun-slit windows and high belt line. But overall I enjoyed it enough to move it to the top of my next daily driver list.

I won't consider the SS because I want the gas milage, insurance for a V6, and 300+ HP is more than enough to get around town.

I'll take an LS, triple black please. I even like the looks of the GFX package. What I don't know is whether the LS can have a sunroof - and whether I even want one.

I've got over 3300 miles on mine already! and I love it. I am having some issues with the clutch, but seems that many others with 5th Gens are having the same issues.. Other than that I love it

Good to hear and ive been debating on what to do since the test drive. At this point im closer to selling the 4th gen so i can order one sooner. Also going 6sp manual.
