Aluminum L98 Vette Heads - SOLD
Picked these up in 2008 planning to install them on my '87 T/A. They have some light intake port work and new Comp springs, locks and retainers. Springs are good for .525 lift. Casting # 10088113, 1.94/1.50 valves
I cleaned them up and they have been sitting on my tool box ever since. They include stock valve covers and rocker arms. Only thing they need is to be blown off and installed. $450 http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/100_2067.jpg http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/100_2068.jpg http://i350.photobucket.com/albums/q...e/100_2092.jpg |
ttt. any offers? I have an edelbrock performer intake manifold I will include with these if I get a decent offer.
|
still available.
|
will they fit on my 305 TPI ??
|
They are from an 88 vette which was a 5.7 TPI, they should fit without any problems. I bought them for my 305 but never got around to installing them.
|
I'll keep you in mind...I may be re-doing the top end on my Camaro this winter. Need to plan the job and decide what I want to spend. (read: can afford to spend)
|
Just as an FYI Viking, if you want to use the L98 heads, you also need a Vette TPI base OR an '85-'86 F-body TPI base. The L98 heads use the early style intake bolt pattern which is different from your '89 heads.
Steve, I'm not trying to wreck your sale, just don't want to see someone go through the same headaches I've been through in the past with my TPI stuff. :) |
Thanks for the input. I know the frustration of getting the wrong parts. I would much rather lose a sale than cause someone else problems.
I'm not too familiar with TPI. My car is carburated and I have an intake manifold that was drilled to fit the heads. |
thanks guys
