so nice brian... good luck with your build im looking forward to seeing it finished. Just curious what the stroke is on the crank and what displacment your going for? wondering why you went iwth 5.7 rods. i guess i better order your HL kit to help pay for all this hahahha

Shorter rod allows for more piston crown and more ringland area.

Hoping to purchase in the next couple months. This will be the next thing I buy.

LOL. Yea I'm trying to overbuild as much as I can. This engine needs to last me a while!

Thanks man. Lonnnng way to go. Just gathering all the parts slowly but surely. Hoping to rip into the bird sometime next year. Maybe sooner depending on how things go. Block is ready to go (bored, honed, 4-bolt splayed mains, etc etc), Trickflow 21 deg heads ported/polished with bigger valves by LE, and ported LE LT1 intake by LE. This will also run on the EFI Connection LS1 PCM conversion which I have all the parts, just waiting on the harness to be sent.

See Matt's response below for the answer to the rods. Crank is a 3.75 stroke.

The headlights are helping but I really don't make much off of them when all is said and done. I make less of a profit on the 93-97 kits but wanted to do it just because I didn't want to leave my fellow early 4th gen cars without an option. :)
