Ffffffffffffffffff this heat!

Anybody a fan of this weather:-x. It might as well be raining or snowing. You can't do ANYTHING outside. I took a look at News 12 around 11:00 this morning and the traffic on the Edison/Driscoll Bridge was almost at a standstill. What were those people going to do when they got down to the shore (about 2 hours later)? Find a place to park? Find a place on the beach? Try to cross the sand without burning off the bottom of your feet? I don't think so!

I was outside all day yesterday for the 4th festivities. I'll probably end up out on the river today to try and relax. But it's tough to try and do too much outside. The real problem is we all get too addicted to the AC and once you sit inside for too long, it makes it feel even hotter outside. If you get outside early in the day it won't be as bad getting adjusted to the hot temps.

trashman01 07-05-2010 12:46 PM

it wasnt too bad today, then again i started work at 3:30 and got home at 1:10(transfer stations are closed but our company still ran, only could get 16 tons on the truck) but i tell u what, im glad i have a/c in the front loaders

12secondv6 07-05-2010 01:20 PM

We hit 99 here..... but it has cooled down to 97 right now.

A/C FTW!

I went outside to pick up the remanents of fireworks and DAMN... its hot.

z28rob18 07-05-2010 02:26 PM

Little G 07-05-2010 02:33 PM

wal-mart has a harrier for 100$, its 5,000 BTU it keeps my whole 3 bedroom apartment cool, my room is cold but it wont freeze the whole apartment but works perfect for me, word of advice, theres no drain hole, id drill one unless u like a water spray

LTb1ow 07-05-2010 05:52 PM

Was around 90 here, I dug up my back yard.. it was a sweet hangover cure..

spina74 07-05-2010 05:58 PM

ug i'm stuck behind a trash truck all day at work....this weeks going to suck.

JL8Jeff 07-05-2010 08:20 PM

I was outside for a good chunk of the day again. Worked on the truck a little, cleaned up around the back yard, then went out on the river and scrubbed the boat down before kicking back in a tube. It was hot, but not humid so it wasn't too bad. The next couple of days are gonna get worse when the humidity kicks in.

greenformula92 07-06-2010 07:31 AM

102 for today....yay for working outside

JerzLT1 07-06-2010 09:40 AM
