car died
 

On way to the ER at virtua hospital in vorhees. Driving normal and just died. Barely hold idle give it gas and it just dies. No smells or leaking or sounds. Not overheated and full tank of gas. Maybe fuel pump? I was told it's a new walbro 255 in there so i dunno. I can get it to hold a 200rpm idle and give gas to normal but then it just dies. Nothing under hood us loose or burnt.

Yes eric my guess would be a fuel pump also. When your reving it its not getting enough fuel and dies out would make sence

i'm guessing no CEL? could be tps, iac, or maf issues to start. i'd get a scanner and look at the data stream

did u check if ur getting fuel at the rail?

scan for codes. check fuel preasure....then get back to us

here's the strange thing. after all that earlier today, i let the car sit in the parking lot for a few hours while in the hospital, and when i came out and tried to start it, it started right up and high idle and acted exactly like a vac leak, so i moved it from the parking lot to the hosp parking lot and waited for my friend to come with my laptop. my hp tuners wouldn't connect for some reason. but the car started acting normal, i even drove it all the way home without any problem? i would look at it tomorrow if it weren't going to be over 100! hah

hmmm....ecm issues maybe

drove car around today without any issues what-so-ever. still can't connect, i think my serial->USB adapter went bad.

Scanned Car today. SES light is out, but i still wanted to scan. These came up:

P0108
P0131
P0151
P0507

MAP, 02 sensor bank 1, 02 sensor bank 2, IAC



sounds like theres some issues with the pcm to throw all those codes at once....unless theyre all just bad. :nod:

my wipers suddenly stop at the top when i shut'em off. wtf. lol

that happened to my car i just rigged up a switch to the fuse box inside the car, works wonders

its so strange. lol. i was using them in rain, then went inside for an hour, came out and they started doing that. weird.
