1999 trans am, pewter, six speed.
For sale: 1999 Pontiac Trans am
Pewter, Six speed, 73,xxx miles car is pretty extensively modified, see list below. starting at 7,000 obo, not currently interested in parting it out. I was trying to get the car as fast as possible with stock internals, so it is basically a full bolt on car, full suspension, and weight reduction. the car has no radio, air conditioning, heat, etc. power windows and locks still work. the car also has tubular front and rear bumper supports from Burkhart chassis. the abs and traction control are deleted via a sjm abs delete kit with built in linelock setup. the car is currently on a set of 15'' weld prostars, 15x8 rear and 15x3.5 front many people on the forum have seen this car in pictures/video or in person, so im not going to build it up to be anything more than it is. It is a solid foundation for a drag only car, or for a street/strip car. It is a little rough on the street due to the manual steering, but the clutch is just as nice on the street as the track, and it is quiet for what it is. negatives: car could use a left front fender, drivers door, and front bumper. all three pieces were hit while the car was parked, and while i have repaired them, they are solid but not pretty. the car has a Salvage/rebuilt title, i originally bought it when it came into my dads shop after a collision, all damage was repaired at his shop and everything is fine. the last thing is that the bmr rack has a slight amount of play in it, that makes the first quarter inch of steering feel sloppy, after that it feels normal driving the car. im sure i am missing a lot, but this is a bunch of stuff to get the listing started. this car has consistently gone 12.0xx to 12.1xx in all types of weather conditions, and with a driver lighter than my 230lbs would EASILY break into the 11s. the car made 355rwhp and 361rwtq on rpm's dyno, and yes thats boltons only through the t56 and 12 bolt. ENGINE: LS6 intake manifold, ngk tr55 spark plugs, gmpp wires, slp air lid TRANSMISSION: D&D built t56, bought fresh after rebuild from a member on ls1tech, i unfortunately don't have any of the paperwork from him, but i can say for sure that this trans has worked flawlessly for me. CLUTCH: JS Performance custom clutch setup, installed right before the 2008 njfboa nationals, very low miles since. has a new gm slave, and TICK adjustable master cylinder DRIVE SHAFT: Precision shaft technologies, aluminum drive shaft, this driveshaft is so beefy that the company offers a LIFETIME warranty on cars up to 1000 hp… REAR: Moser 12 bolt, 4.10 gears, all the options you could order through moser, also has arp extended wheel studs. EXHAUST: American Racing Headers 1 7/8ths stainless headers and stainless catted y-pipe. magnaflow catback CHASSIS/SUSPENSION: G2 subframe connectors, UMI chassis mount torque arm, UMI rear lower control arms, UMI K-member, UMI front upper and lower control arms, Wolfe racecraft panhard bar, qa1 coilers in the front and qa1 shocks with stock springs in the rear STEERING: BMR manual steering rack with bump steer kit |
