Blah, I'll be busy next month

GM is recalling 240K+ vehicles for a seat & belt issue

Luckily it seems like a quick and easy fix.

warranty work sucks but at least its work.

MyFirstZ 08-17-2010 01:04 PM

time to make some easy money

Warranty work sucks, luckily this is an easy fix, just like the heated washer nozzle recall..but still...warranty work sucks balls. My guys barely get paid for anything. But like Jenn said, work is work. :)

I know all about it little buddy. I worked at a Nissan Dealership for a year, when they were doing the sub frame recalls. None of the boys in the shop wanted warranty work.

hey, at least gm RECALLS THEIR PROBLEMS

Once in the while it pays. I lost my best tech to a jeep dealer when he decided he needed a change of pace. Jeep makes a fairly poor automatic trans. They sent him to school to learn to fix them. Warranty labor to R&R a Grand Cherokee automatic was like 7+ hours. He could do two a day and there was no shortage of work for him. Mind you this was a guy that could fix the space shuttle if it landed on rt 9, but still. Repetition breeds speed!

True true.

...and Jenn..."little buddy"? Don't make me shake you, lol.
