rim polishing/degreasing

just got rims from a member from here, got a great deal on them thanks alot! anyways, while they are off the car i just want to give em a good clean and polish inside and out befor i slap them on. what compounds/gels work the best. i dont have access to a buffer or power drill, elbow grease only. btw the rims are standard ss 10 spokes not chrome. thanks in advance

I know chrome is easier to clean, so maybe this isn't the easiest option for you...?

I had a little too much time & claybar on my hands today so I hit the rims too; they came out looking better than I'd ever seen them. $20 for the whole kit, did my wing, a few panels around the car, then my chrome wheels.

Ive really like the Armour All triple action wheel cleaner. I have the same wheels as you too. Its like 5-6$ a bottle and Ive seen it everywhere.
