Looking for a 3800 SC (L67) Builder

My friend has a 98 GTP..I'm pretty sure it has close to 200k HARD miles on it..and we think its time she had it rebuilt. Is there anyone in particular that comes to mind in our area?

www.3800performance.com
www.intense-racing.com
www.zzperformance.com

I would buy the parts from one of those sites and take everything to a local machine shop.

Best one in the area (2nd in the nation from what I remember) passed away a few years back. I don't know of any local builders. Maybe talk to Zoomer at ZZP and see if he can recommend anyone.

just when you get one, if it's not fresh/fresh rebuild, make sure to change the coupler, holy geezum have I replaced some bad couplers.

it smokes..it leaks..everything was put together on the top with that permatex make a gasket crap from what i can tell..it has trouble starting..its basically whooped. i noticed someone literally fired bullets through the nose and fan and into parts of the engine..through the windshield and door. which is probably the reason for the permatex crap..they had to replace the top end before selling the car.
