Hot as in temperature hot or hot as in Paris Hilton "that's hot"?

Its not a defect, actually it's enzo punishing Ferrari for scrapping the manual gearbox in favor of all this electronic ********.

I seen one in Monterey. I became as excited as a kid in a candy store, but withered away when I realized it'll never see it's real purpose, the race track. So either Enzo is pissed, or the 458's are commiting suicide cause they are depressed their usage will mainly be lookign pretty in the garage.

Saw a 458 puttering around Deal. Lame but it is a beautiful car.

Don't lump all W bodies in with that crap. Fire was only common on the later ones with those lousy 90* v6 motors. Never had any issues with the 60* motors :-P

Yes, lousy 90* that was on the list for one of the ten best engines of the 20th century, not those 60* that put 3rd gens to shame against a stock civic, and early 4th gens. sure we have a slight vibration problem, but the HP and nitrous friendly block make up for that :)

Also, anybody seen the new SSC Ultimate Aero, that thing is HAWT! not like the last one that looked like a bad Diablo kit car copy. They just might have something there. It'll never gain the popularity of the Bugatti, but they seem to want that record.

And as far as the Bugatti hitting 268mph, it only took 70+ years to beat that record. german engineering FTW. (Yes I know VW owns Bugatti, and they use the W style motor, but Germans have owned the overall road record since prewar.)
