I must say Kolb looks like crap so far. Looks pretty bad for leonard Weaver as well.

Tru2Chevy 09-12-2010 05:29 PM

not sure what Alex Smith is gonna do now....he and the rest of the Niners started this game great, but Seattle has come back and started to freight train over them. Hopefully they can gather themselves back up and at least bring a challenge towards the end of the game.

Have to agree on Kolb. Looks like he hasn't done much of anything against Green Bay.

Bucs! Not for the win, but better then last year, time to keep building!

JL8Jeff 09-12-2010 06:46 PM

Giants looked better than I expected. Lots of people getting hurt in week 1.

Slow-V6 09-12-2010 07:13 PM

Doesnt matter who is at QB the Eagles still cannot come back to win a freaking game. Going to be a very long season.

Tru2Chevy 09-12-2010 07:19 PM

I didn't watch much of the game, but sure looked to me like Vick was doing a better job that Kolb was.

From the way they built up Kolb.. He has a quick release, gets rid of the ball fast, is very accurate.. I didnt see none of that today. Behind the Eagles Oline you need a QB that can by time and roll out. Kolb is not that. Teams see that and they will bring the heat every game now especially with Jammal Jackson now out for the season.

being im one of those people who doesnt care for football or any other sports for that matter. i normaly ignore these threads.

but my brother and a few other people went to the eagle's game today and to be honest im happy they lost because it means i don't have to deal with them being all annoying when the get home lol.

Frosty 09-12-2010 07:25 PM

Vick played great. Another brilliant job by Reid and company  Everyone in this city blamed McNabb for the problems....it's Reid...always has been and always will be.

...lining your QB up in the shotgun for a QB draw on a 4th & 1=Pop Warner league play.

Yeah I know, Jackson out(starting center) and Weaver out(starting FB)...but still...you make your line battle for that one yard and hand the f'in ball off.

A great, gritty effort by Vick completely wasted.

It was probably damn near impossible for Kolb to get into any rhythm..being his first start under his era plus having Vick come in damn near every 3rd play.....ridiculous.

techically figure skating is a sport lol. hell i don't even care for any form of professional racing.

Slow-V6 09-12-2010 10:43 PM

Well the Cowboys are back to there normal selves. Mcnabb had a good debut and did what he had to do to get the win for the Skins. Wish I could say the same about Kolb. Portis looked good as well..

I cant believe that game...I dont want to believe that game. That wasnt a hold, that was assault and battery.

I think it is going to be a great season. Nobody is really looking dominant. There was a lot of sloppy football. Yesterday though, I am hoping it is because it was the first week of the season. I predict that the jets will do much worse then everyone thinks also, a lot of money was spent to make a team to win, but I don't see that happening in the end

I have a bad feeling for the Jets fans that there is going to be a big letdown because of too much hype. All I heard this past week was how good they were on paper.

Jets lose, 10-9. They only managed 6 first downs the entire game....
