BonzoHansen 11-03-2010 09:34 PM

I assume that based on what I read back when it happened.

BigRocsFirebird 11-03-2010 09:43 PM

the 70's and 80's were great for muscle cars as far as im concerned, but technology has come a long way and its much easier to make big power these days so im kinda enjoying the now years ...lol

Hm this is good to know. I was looking through my supplier's list of parts and noticed some Crane Cams I just though it was just old inventory.

my dad has the gm847 cam in his vette. that cam is a crane cams grind. one of the best cams out there when he built his motor in 2003

I have a Crane Z Cam in my LS. I researched it and not many people run them but the few I've talked to were real happy with it. Weren't they a subsidiary of a NJ company Mikronite Systems or something?

sweetbmxrider 11-04-2010 08:30 PM

camaroracer1992 11-04-2010 09:47 PM

wore 2 lobes down on one of their cams, never buy again. Ill only get COMP or Bullet

SteveR 11-08-2010 06:07 AM

I know when they went under somebody bought all their inventory and tooling. Not sure if this is the new company using the name or if Crane is starting up again on their own.
