dam i wouldnt mind a shelby. i cant imagine a guy would let his friend drive that car un supervised. like the posts said if he was looking for a noise why was the nitrous open and switch guard raised. the guy who crashed the car is going to have a huge bill to pay up.

i wonder if the op was the one that crashed it:rofl:

baddest434 11-07-2010 02:19 PM

 he was only going 30 mph

maybe where he hit the nitrous!

S.J.SLEEPER 11-07-2010 02:38 PM

A little bondo and some minor welding car should be good as new !!!

this is why you don't let others drive your car, unless they can write a check for it or if your independently wealthy and can afford to buy another one tomorrow.
I don't feel bad for the guy, Was his own stupidy when he anded the keys over to the nucklehead who crashed it!

WiMiMc 11-07-2010 04:41 PM

watch the driver was a dodge/chevy lover tryna get rid of the competition :shifty:

transmaro93 11-07-2010 04:51 PM

nobody wins in this situation... what a shame all around... if the guy was on drugs he deserves to suffer for a while...

Owner is getting stiffed on cash. Insurance paid him $40k, and he had $70k into it. One more reason to always have proper insurance coverage on a heavily modified vehicle.

Exactly, ALWAYS have an agreed value on a car that valuable.

I'd certainly like to be an idiot with that car pre-accident

Amazing the idiot friend didn't kill himself. Ford could use this in their "Built Ford Tough" campaign.
