Former Site Sponsor TTP Out of Business

The owner Matt hasn't been active on any internet forum for over 2 years and now they are officially done. I first read the story here: http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/easter...rformance.html

What I read quickly was after they moved to their new shop their customer service went down the drain and their racecar the "Kerminator" was destroyed on one of it's first passes with a new setup. My car got it's first tune by him and he seemed like a cool guy. It's a shame, but from what I hear he is now working for ECS in cream ridge.

yeah i heard that

Customer service was horrible from the beginning. He was a nice guy, but boy he had no idea how to run a successful business.

I won't even get into all the crap I dealt with 4 years ago with them.. but it wasn't good.

Wasn't that place always changing locations? Never dealt with them, but I thought that was kind of odd.

I thought this is the place the club went to for two years on a tune-day kind of thing. The TTP family turned it into a sort of BBQ while folks were there, and the comments afterward were positive. :?:

QFT
Can't say I had a good experience with them at all.

Njgunslinger 11-09-2010 12:04 PM

Well I suppose we don't have to worry about them anymore! Hell I had to go out of state to PA to get any decent work done.

Yes, they kept outgrowing shops and moving into larger ones.

Yea, we did dyno days at TTP 3 or 4 years in a row, and always had a good turnout and we were fed really well by TTPMom and TTPGranny :) Matt was always good to the club when they were sponsors.

Just like any other business, some people have had great dealings with them, others were far from satisfied with their work or service.

And for the most part, people are more vocal when they are dissatisfied, then when they are pleased.

LOL well if you dealt with real performance shops run by real professionals, then you would know the difference.. If you are kid, who liked to hang out and didn't mind so much the BS that you were fed, the waiting, the return trips because something wasn't done right the first time, the money you gave them for your parts but was spent on other peoples part because they couldn't manage their accounts..then you may have had great dealings with them.

sweetbmxrider 11-09-2010 06:02 PM

screw you once, shame on ttp. screw you twice, shame on you.

Aren't they the ones who kicked Mike's car out of their shop because they were hosting a Corvette event?

im good friends with some people at "TTP" and yes they closed down....

...but the other shop is already open under a different name and a different location.

Matt currently works at EastCoastSuperchargers and Runs the other shop.

NastyEllEssWon 11-13-2010 08:07 AM

haha my son and his mother live right next door to ECS. theyre really cool guys and always have a ton of vettes outside and loud noises all day long. i used to pray for them doing some type of dynoing to drown out the sounds of my sons mother bellowing in the background about some random thing im doing to piss her off
