looking for a garage to store my car/parts. need tips
 

I am trying to find a place to move my car, parts, and tools. I don't have enough space in my apartment for it all and would like someplace I could work on it a little(nothing involving fluid changes or anything) through the winter. I tried craigslist, but 95 percent of the stuff I find is small self storage places. Anyone have any tips on where I could look to find a place? I'm sure that those self storage places have no outlets and probably frown on removing even a lug nut so I would prefer to avoid those.

Could always grab a pop up tent for like 200 bucks, but you gotta find a friend nice enough to let ya put it up. It was hard for me and my friends to find a garage that would be big enough to store a car, and when we found it, they wanted a little too much, it was big enough to fit a car and nothing else, and it wasent in the safest of area's.
