Uh oh, it might be time to get the shovels and snowblowers ready!
I was just looking on the Accuweather forums and one of the latest model runs was showing a huge storm sitting just off the coast and lingering in the Sun-Mon time frame. And with the cold air in place, it could be a lot of snow! The good news is that it's showing it this early which means I'm sure it will change before we get to the weekend. It will be interesting to see how the local news shows their 7 day forecasts. But it would be pretty cool to have a white Christmas. 3-4" would be fine, not 15-20".

i wish it would snow 1-2 feet. after all if its gona be cold it might as well snow. and if it's gona snow it might as well snow enough to make it worth it so that fun can be had.

We have a solid 3/4-1" on the ground right now and still coming down

wow! weather.com says clear till Christmas!

i just drove the V through blizzard conditions last night up by syracuse in order to go pick up the title for my Durango. Ive seen enough snow up here in upstate ny the past 3 winters to satisfy me for 15+ years...
when im home on leave in jan, i hope there is no snow. |

From reading some of the information this morning, they still don't have a good idea of what this potential storm will do. The data that feeds the models has been questionable which has most of the models sending this storm out into the Atlantic with us getting nothing. They won't get good data to process until tonight it appears. We had a nice little instant blizzard yesterday morning and got a quick coating in 10 minutes.

Looks like we're gonna luck out on this one and it's staying to our south and east. The shore areas may end up getting some snow but probably not too much.
