Wow, Coughlin needs to be fired after that debacle!

How you can you allow that to happen! Stop blaming the players and make sure you know what kind of game you're calling. How can you allow miss tackles down the middle, onside kick, QB running 35+ yards several times and then the punt return!

NastyEllEssWon 12-19-2010 03:37 PM

Hey Giants Fans!!!!

I really hope the Giants don't make the playoffs so we can get rid of Coughlin. But they'll sneak in a wildcard most likely which will save his butt. The punt return didn't really matter. If the game went OT, the Eagles had the momentum so they probably would have kicked a FG. I said the Giants should have let the Eagles score with 2 minutes left so they could try to do something. But the Giants called 3 lousy pass plays at the end.

chrisfrom nj 12-19-2010 04:01 PM

i sent that pic to a few hardcore giants fans

JL8Jeff 12-19-2010 04:06 PM

Save it for when the Eagles actually win a superbowl! I can take the lousy Giants losses because I'm rewarded with a superbowl every once in a while.

baddest434 12-19-2010 04:10 PM

good!!!!!!!!!! i hate the giants almost as much as i hate the jets.

Not with their banged up D...Eli, for once was sharp but the Eagles D is just putrid. Patterson needed some butter out there because he was toast most of the game.

I barely have a voice left from yelling at the TV, I'm still in shock. I might go get a Matt Dodge jersey now...just because. :D

Dodge didn't lose the game, the team and coaching staff did. You can't give up 21 points in less than 7 minutes in the 4th quarter. Dodge just saved us the suffering of OT.

Frosty 12-19-2010 05:18 PM

Eh, in OT it's anyone's game really. You're right though, coaching. I never thought Coughlin was a good coach. I'm not saying this because I'm an Eagles fan or a Giants hater but I think their Super Bowl run was a fluke, at least it was for Coughlin. If he doesn't get fired after this season(provided they miss the playoffs) it'll be a damn shame for you guys.

JL8Jeff 12-19-2010 05:41 PM

I feel bad for you Eagles fans being stuck with Reid (and McNabb) for all these years. We've sufferfed through some bad coaches but at least they put it all together once in a while. The biggest thing about this win is that it will most likely give the Eagles a bye week. Most of the NFC is falling apart right now so it's really a toss up. Atlanta has a great home record so they really are the team to beat if they get home field.

Frosty 12-19-2010 06:17 PM

Yeah, Atlanta is by far the team to beat.

Mike 12-19-2010 06:20 PM

you dont use a prevent defense against a qb that can run... you are just giving him 30 yards of space...

it was cold and the end was crazy, lots of angry people walking out

BonzoHansen 12-19-2010 06:24 PM

The giants need to learn how to tackle and learn to execute the plays the coach calls

Slow-V6 12-19-2010 06:31 PM

The past is the past.. Congrats that you won a Superbowl back in 07.. Thats great for you.. Giving up 21 points in 7 mins at home with the 2nd best defense is also a great task.. That happened today.. You keep living in the past all you want. We enjoy beating up on the Giants in the present... At least the Jets know how to beat a tuff Pennsylvania team. They didnt give up a 5 point lead but the Giants gave up a 21 point lead..

they are in the north with baltimore cleveland and cincy...

i also think they will be proven a fraud in the playoffs, the refs had to give them the miami game, and they needed overtime to beat the lions and bills...

Frosty 12-19-2010 06:46 PM

What do the Jets have to do with this? Sorry but the Jets are a fraud, regardless of the Giants collapse today they're still 10 times the team the Jets ever will be.

LS1Hawk 12-20-2010 05:02 AM

These epic collapses are par for the course for the Giants/Eagles rivalry. I remember a few years back it was the Eagles at home that gave up a huge lead to the Giants...I think even bigger than the lead the Giants gave up yesterday. I knew the minute Manningham fumbled the ball this was going to happen. The Giants had all the momentum and Manningham literally handed it to Philly. It's just something that seems to occur a lot when these two teams meet.
