WTB: Corvette FRC (fuel rail covers)

Like it says i want to buy a pair of corvette fuel rail covers.

But is there any problems with the throttle cable since vettes are drive by wire ?

I can get them new i think i saw 48$ ea. in one of the many vette catalogs we get here

I have a pair of unused stock black ones, bought them for my LS1 swap but my heater box and AN fuel rail adapter stopped the installation.

$60 shipped to NY via USPS Priority Mail?

$100 shipped for a set cut already for an Fbody

MyFirstZ 12-21-2010 09:40 AM

what has to be cut isnt it just the hole for the throttle cable?

Jersey Mike 12-21-2010 10:22 AM

^^ haha, nope. Do a search on Tech. There's a fair amount of cutting (and sanding, if you want to make it look nice) to be done. I spent a lot of time on mine, no chance in hell I'd let them go for cheap.

I think GMPD has them for something like 40-50 bucks, but expect to wait weeks and deal with idiots. Best bet is to either get a set precut and not deal with any headache, or buy an uncut set for less & modify it to fit yourself.

MyFirstZ 12-21-2010 10:26 AM

i think i will do that, i dont mind cutting and getting it to fit, i got one set pending for 35$ off my dads vette forum. if he doesnt come through i will just get his for 60$
