1999 ZR2 Blazer $500 ...needs front diff..
 

109k miles, auto, 4wd, 2 door, rust hole on driver side rocker and slight damage to driver side fender flares, and front bumper. some rust starting on door bottoms etc, After all it is an upstate NY truck.

front diff is destroyed, needs complete housing and so forth. axles and front DS are ok.

Truck is in upstate NY here with me, but i can take pics and eventually will get it down to northern NJ.

Im asking $500 firm.

Probably by the end of January. Ill be having surgery on my arm so dates will all depend on that. I'll PM you my contact info in a lil bit.

I'm interested.you know how hard it would be to fix the front end? I've been looking for one of these for a long time now

it needs a complete diff .. housing pinon gears etc.
you need a front axle setup and then just do all the labor involved in swapping stuff over.
what the involves, i have no idea.

i found a complete setup for a ZR2, for 370 shipped from a parts recycler on ebay

like i mentioned to someone last night who was interested, the power steering cooler had to be bypassed since part of the metal line rotted out, its not leaking anymore now.

still interested just need to know when it can be brought to nj

im in no rush would just be a fun project truck for me. let me knwo when it is here. ill come take a look and take it if everything else checks out.

what engine does it have? what zipcode is it in right now? will it drive?

it has the 4.3l vortec v6
3 button 4wd switch on dash

currently in zip 13602
when in nj, it'll be in 07624

It will drive, other than for the diff coming apart. If i pull the front driveshaft, i should be able to remove the pinion rear and then drive it was rwd. ill know more this weekend.
