The 9yr old that was killed in the AZ shooting yesterday was the granddaughter of Dallas Green, a long time Phillie and someone who was in the organization for a long time.

It's a real shame. Such a senseless act to kill and injury innocent people and for what? Because you were mad at your State Rep for voting against someone/something you supported? Absolutely pathetic.

I just couldn't imagine picking up a gun and going on a rampage because I was mad at someone or something. Then again this guy is a full fries short of a full happy meal.

BTW, keep Obama, Glenn Beck, FoxNews, guns, Conservative vs. Liberal, Republican vs. Democrat out of this thread please, it had nothing to do with his motives...the finger-pointing has already started and it's abso-freakin-lutely pathetic, it's tearing this country apart.

I hope the families of this tragedy can find some type of peace and move on...I just don't get the act of violence, I really don't.

I just don't want to see the thread get locked that's all. Trust me, I'd love for some of the politicians in our state to feel pain(Rick Santorum being one of them) but I couldn't imagine picking up a gun and going that route. After seeing this guy's myspace page and some of his youtube rants he was way, WAY off of his rocker.

It's so sad what happened to the congresswoman and the federal judge. But when you hear a little girl was killed...it just tears at your heart. I feel so bad for her family. Someone once told me never attend a political rally/meet because there's always the chance that someone will go too far to express their opinion. It's shame, because as Americans we should be able to feel free to assemble and not have to worry about our safety. It's unfortunate that this is what it has come to.

I'm hearing she was subscribed to the shooters youtube account. I don't know how true that is or still someone hacked her account. I'm waiting for a reputable new source to report it.
