I'm convinced NJtransit/highways/roadways hate me
 

it seems like everytime i go on the highway longer than 30/40 mins, something always delays me. traffic. construction. traffic because of construction.

today i was heading up to north jersey and i'm getting close to 80. on the opposite side there was a jeep on a flat bed, completely toasted inside and out, firetrucks around. as soon as i get onto 41A, bam, congestion. and this is about 12 noon.

this evening i'm coming home, i hop on 80E and get maybe a mile or so before bam. more traffic. we inched along and had a top speed of 30 for maybe 8 or so exits.

on a side note, un neccesarry congestion bothers me :evil:

i knew it, never can have have an easy ride home or anything. well sometimes i can get lucky, but theres no given formula of perfect day or time.

This is why I hate highways and cities. Thank god I don't live near either.

Really? I would bet I hit more traffic on 80 than anywhere else I travel. And by 80 I mean Lake Hopatcong and west...

I'm not that close to Route 80.

Besides, I've only ever seen traffic stem from Exit 34 (Sparta/Rt 15) or Around 37-42ish. It only ever comes out further west if it just continues to get backed up. It doesn't start out here, only east of exit 30.

i hate traffic also.. makes me smoke more cigs..

i make a living out of being a driver. traffic is all common sense mostly, the only time you cant avoid it is when there is something unexpected like construction or an accident. for instance, dont take the parkway at 8 in the morning. lol.
