so i think ive finally lost it lol

well for some time now ive wanted a c5 and ive been keeping my eye out for one. i have tons of intrest in all the aftermarket parts i have on the hyundai genesis right now so selling that and making a bunch of money off that stuff will be no issue.

ill prob be taking the car up to a dealer in the next week or two to see what they say about trade in value. i know i will take a little of a hit but if payments stay about the same i might make the jump back into the lsx game. lol

plus the vette gets better mpg than my damn 2.0 hyundai! go figure.

NastyEllEssWon 04-11-2011 08:45 PM

do it. c5 > genesis

MyFirstZ 04-11-2011 09:09 PM

Sounds good to me. i would love to get my hands on a c5. I see decent ones around 15k and mint ones at 20k.

LTb1ow 04-11-2011 09:11 PM

i paid 12k for mine last winter with 74k miles on it... on ebay, without even seeing it. good deals are out there. DOOOOO ITTTTT

Not to be a negative nancy, but wasn't the idea of the genesis to keep things simple and reliable? IDK, if it were me, I'd keep the genesis for a while. Seems like you've got a lot of work going into the pickup too. It gets real rough when you've got two vehicles that keep getting modified. I'm finding out it's better to keep things a while than to have a revolving door of used cars all the time.

You're starting to make me look normal! I think I would get a different car/truck/boat every 6-12 months. I think old age is catching up with me and now I've been holding onto stuff for 2-3 years. Oh wait, I did have that 99 Tacoma for 5 months before selling it, then the 88 4Runner for 5 months, sold the 1970 Camaro 2 years ago and sold the 00 SS last year, bought the 01 Z71 last year. Darn, I thought I was getting better!

sweetbmxrider 04-12-2011 07:26 AM

There was a 2003 Z06 by me for sale for 18,000..

7998 04-12-2011 09:22 AM

Any particular C5? Auto,Stick,Vert,Z06? I had a good deal on a Z06 last week but between the way gas prices are pushing the economy and the fact I need a vert I nixed it.
