Yep, that was me! And thank you for your kind words. Everyone's night was ended early after that Fox Body Stang wrecked into the wall. I only got 2 runs. I went 10.203 on my second pass.

i was up getting food when it crashed and lit on fire, im surprised how many people from the stands run onto the track towards a car thats on fire lol...and im pissed that they ran the T&T last night considering it was x275, 10.5 outlaw and 8.50 index running but whatever it was only $10 and seeing how ****** the track prep looked makes me not want to waste my money racing my car there so maybe it saved me money in the long run

Track was actually decent, we ran in the 8.50 index and had one our best 60' ,1.20 and 3rd fastest times with the car 8.35 @ 163 .Most of the 8.50 cars had no problem at all hooking up. Both Kasper cars in 10.5 Outlaw ran 4.2s to the 1/8 .The car that wrecked was running in a 20k winner take all race.He has 1 maybe 2 broken legs, and his brother had a heart attack while running to assist him.

I was just getting back to the staging lanes when it happened. I heard the announcer telling people not to run toward the crash. Then I saw 2 sets of ambulance/paramedics pullin into front gate.

How was the quick 8's? I take it they ran eighth mile because of the wind? Was the mustang that crashed a no-time car?

dugeman 04-16-2011 03:15 PM

I don't know what you mean by quick 8s , unless you mean Outlaw 10.5. Outlaw 10.5 and Drag Radial only run 1/8 mile ,8.50 1/4 mile

DadsZ28 04-17-2011 07:13 PM

Quick 8's was the old terminology for the 10.5 tire class, and they used to run 1/4 mile. Guess its been a couple of years since I have seen them run. Thought is was because it was windy fri. night that they ran the eighth.
